Hits for Hope is a one day Co-Ed softball tournament where
100% of the net proceeds are used to support the continued
prosperity of charities in our local area. This year Mutual
Ground, Inc. of Aurora is our benefiting organization. They
provide help for victims of domestic violence and sexual
assault.
This charity holds a special place for all of us participating
in this first annual fundraiser. In our personal lives we
are witnesses to the victims of domestic violence and sexual
assault while some of us are victims ourselves. The wounds
take a lifetime of work and healing. To our loved ones who
lost their lives we promise to hold you in our hearts always
and fight for awareness in your honor. Kari Clawson
